Censorship

A word on Censorship.

With every new form of public broadcast, comes a new form of Censorship and it would be naive not to assume this fate for the World Wide Web.  Internet use in itself, leaves people open to a wide range of privacy invasions, such as identity fraud and data collection, without consent, for marketing (or worse) purposes.  This is an obvious and well known danger that is avoided by the majority with vigilance.  However, we should use the current unregulated state of the Web to our advantage as well, by collecting as much relevant information as possible to store Offline.  Relevant is a term I will let you define.  The internet allows us to have instant access to a large volume of information, of all perspectives, enabling us to make informed decisions.  If this were gone today, amassing information on anything would take allot more time, and would therefore be done by less of the population.  As a bonus, external hard drives can be quite light and small, thus portable for those on the run!

Happy Downloading!
